How do we measure spring coils?

If you need to measure the length of the garage door springs, you must include all coils but not the end parts. If you need to measure the wire diameter to determine the thickness of the coil, you must use a micrometer or even better measure the length of 20 coils and divide the total by 20.

Why galvanized steel still needs lubrication?

Even if they are galvanized, garage door parts will still move and rub against each other. Constant contact and rubbing without lubricants will wear down the galvanized material. The smallest crack will eventually grow and allow the penetration of oxygen, which will erode the material. So, lubrication maintenance is equally important for all galvanized parts.

Can I just install the door panels I bought? How?

So when you want to replace the garage door panel, make sure that you do the necessary measurements to ensure that you get the right size of the panel of your door.
